Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival

Event Description

Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival, brought to you by the Community Environmental Council and Carp Events, is back in Alameda Park,1400 Santa Barbara St, Santa Barbara, CA on Saturday, April 29, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sunday, April 30, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Join us for our first large festival since 2019! The 2023 festival – which is free to attend – anticipates all of the fun of past years. Now in its 53rd year, Santa Barbara’s community-organized festival is one of the longest-running Earth Day celebrations in the country and is one of the largest Earth Day festivals on the West Coast.

#SBEarthday is a place for our community to come together and connect the dots between climate change and local solutions we can implement to ensure a climate-resilient future. This is our opportunity to inform and educate the local community about environmental concerns, inspire our region with a vision of what’s possible, and act to stand up for the environment we hold dear. Festival highlights include:

  • 200+ eco-conscious exhibitors

  • The longest-running Green Car show in the US featuring the latest electric and hybrid vehicle technology.

  • Two full days of music

  • Plant-forward Food Court

  • Homegrown Roots Zone and Homegrown Roots Stage curated by Cultivate Events

  • Beer & Wine Garden

  • Kid’s Zone organized by LearningDen and Explore Ecology
