Visitor Centers Advertising
The 2 Visitor Centers located on Garden Street and State Street are run and operated by the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce. If you are looking to target locals and tourists, this is the place to be. Monthly visitation ranges from 2,500-4,000 unique visitors, with approximately 80% of visitors from out of town. Advertising options include Feature Wall Advertising, Video Advertising, Maps, Window Advertising, Rack Cards, and Ad Boards.

Our Business-2-Business Network is one of our premier events held on the 4th Thursday of each month. The presenting sponsor may address the group for 5-7 minutes, distribute marketing material and bring up to 10 guests. This proven business networking attracts a variety of business representatives. This event also attracts members and non-members alike.
Annual Membership Meeting
Attended by more than 125 local businesses and elected officials, this event is the kick-off of the Chamber’s year. New Directors are installed, and Chairperson named. Our Annual Membership Meeting focuses on networking and bringing businesses together. It is a great way to introduce your Company to new members, new businesses, and local employees.
State of the City Series
The State of the City Series – Carpinteria, Goleta, and Santa Barbara are 3 separate events presented in conjunction with each of the 3 cities. These will be produced events. Attendees will be able to watch online. Presentations will include the Mayor and City Staff with updates on where the city has been and where it is going. This event is attended by local CEOs, business representatives, and community leaders.
State of the County
The State of the County event will be a produced event put on in collaboration with all the Santa Barbara County Chambers of Commerce. Attendees will be able to watch online. The presentation will include important updates from the County Executive Team and representatives from the Board of Supervisors. The 2020 event included an update from Dr. Peter Rupert.
The Chamber hosts two Legislative Updates featuring elected officials providing updates from Sacramento or Washington D.C. This is an information-packed program, designed to brief the business community on the latest Business Trends, Legislative Updates, Economic Development, and relevant issues that affect the community. Community Awards Gala
Carpinteria’s Community Awards Gala is an annual event attended by business members and the community at large. The Community Awards Banquet honors multiple highly esteemed Community Members: Carpinterian of the Year, Two Educators of the Year are celebrated. Merit Award Winners are recognized, honoring volunteers from multiple organizations including the Carpinteria Valley Chamber, local Service Clubs, and various Nonprofits. One Jr. Carpinterian of the Year is selected and a $4000. The scholarship is awarded.
A 70-Year-Old Tradition is a Celebration of our Community. The annual awards banquet is an elegant event in Goleta, including residents and business organizations. Held in late fall at the prestigious The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, the evening includes dinner, music, and more than 400 guests as we honor Goleta’s Finest!
Regional Business Awards
The South Coast Chamber of Commerce Regional Business Awards is an annual luncheon that celebrates Chamber members recognizing Small and Large Business of the Year as well as a Businessman and Businesswoman of the year. This event will be moved to the fall/winter and held at the Four Seasons Biltmore.
There are so many wonderful restaurants in Carpinteria and not enough time to try them all… until NOW! Join us for the Carpinteria Culinary Crawl. Walk through town and get a taste of ten plus unique local restaurants wearing your commemorative culinary crawl apron.
This event begins with an Economic Development Bus Tour around Goleta and ends at Deckers Brands for a panel of tech businesses, a keynote speaker and a wine and cheese reception.
Attended by 35,000 regional residents, community leaders, nonprofits, and elected officials, this event represents Goleta. Sponsors support the Chamber’s largest fundraiser and are marketed to the greatest number of people. The event supports the area’s non-profits and is the only Goleta community festival!
Roadmap to Recovery
The Chamber is focused on creating a Roadmap for Recovery – utilizing our more than 1,100 regional members in more than 15 different industry sectors, our charge is to map a course for recovery, based on our best efforts over the next 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months ahead. Our first phase is to organize a structure of information based on Goals, Tactics, and Milestones for areas such as business openings, tourism growth, manufacturing output, customer numbers, financial improvements, and bringing back our workforce.
