Employer-Sponsored Housing Consortium Earns Regional Recognition

Chamber President & CEO, Kristen Miller, presented on the Chamber’s Employer Sponsored Housing Consortium initiative at the recent 2024 Regional Economic Development Roundtable hosted by REACH. The event included industry leader, government representatives, and economic development practitioners across both San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. Housing, precision manufacturing, and greater regional collaboration were the three major opportunity areas discussed at the event, perfectly aligning with the Chamber’s efforts to advocate for increased housing supply, push workforce housing programs, and strengthen our local technology and manufacturing workforce development pipeline.
