The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce offers several committees where members can be involved in areas of their expertise and interest to support the Chamber activities.

Ambassador Committee

The Ambassador Committee actively promotes and represents the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber in the business community. The Ambassadors focus on member connection, member retention, event support, and Chamber promotion.

Hospitality Committee

The Hospitality Committee focuses on everything there is to do and see on the central coast. Executives from member hotels, restaurants, and retail connect with their colleagues to gain insight into the latest industry trends and provide critical information about the industry’s impact on our local community.

Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee, comprised of a diverse group of business leaders from across industry sectors, reviews and makes recommendations to the Board on public policy issues in economic development, community vitality, and business regulation. By advocating for and implementing a robust policy platform, the Chamber believes the Santa Barbara South Coast will be a better place in which to live, work, and do business.

Technology and Manufacturing Committee

The Technology and Manufacturing Committee works to address local challenges as they relate specifically to our region’s Technology and Manufacturing businesses. The Committee organizes quarterly Tech Roundtable events to facilitate discussion between local Technology and Manufacturing Businesses, using the feedback to better prioritize which challenges and topics to address in partnership with the Chamber.
