The Chamber’s Carpinteria Business Committee meets bi-monthly to connect the City management team with local businesses in Carpinteria.
At the April 18th meeting held via zoom, the committee welcomed guest speakers Sara Dearman with Chevron and Kim Gutierrez with the Alcazar Theater. Sara provided an update on the plant decommissioning in Carpinteria and an overview of the project. Kim gave a recap of the March celebration of Women Making Change, events at the Alcazar Theater, and a sneak peek of what is coming. On April 27, the Alcazar Theater will celebrate 97 years!
Michael Ramirez, Assistant City Manager, provided the committee with an update on special projects. The next committee meeting will be held on June 20th. For questions, please contact Berlin Garcia at Berlin@stg.sbscchamber.com
