Have you considered taking on student interns, but have concerns about the time commitment and cost? Strengthening the local workforce pipeline for the benefit of local businesses and residents continues to be a high priority for the Chamber. Thanks to partnerships with local educational institutions and employers we continue to make strides in growing quality jobs and creating career opportunities. Recently the Chamber held the quarterly Tech Roundtable event focused on showcasing the power of internships through education-industry partnerships. Attendees from the Technology & Manufacturing industry heard from business colleagues, education partners, and student interns on just how easy and beneficial taking on a student intern can be when done through a partnership with educational partners at local high schools, city colleges, and Universities.
