Thank you to outgoing Goleta City Councilmember Roger Aceves

The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce offers a huge thank you to outgoing Councilmember Roger Aceves for his 16 years of service on the Goleta City Council. Councilmember Aceves stepped up to serve the City of Goleta when the City was less than 5 years old. He served two terms as Goleta’s Mayor and has served on countless subcommittees and boards.

Councilmember Aceves’ dedication to the Goleta community was clear in his commitment to never missing a meeting during his 16 years on Council, his efforts to research every topic that came before the Council, and his regular outreach to his constituents. The Chamber has enjoyed a close working relationship with Councilmember Aceves. We have been fortunate to have worked with a Councilmember who has been willing to serve the community in such a long-term capacity and we wish him well in all of the other ways he will continue to serve our community.
