The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber Presents the 2021 Santa Barbara State of the City

SANTA BARBARA, CA – The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce, from Goleta to Carpinteria will host a virtual Santa Barbara State of the City for release on Friday, June 18th at 9 AM. The State of the City will broadcast from the State Street Visitor Center.

Santa Barbara is the third of the four-part State of the City series. The Chamber hosted the Carpinteria presentation in March and Goleta in May. The State of the County will be the Chamber’s first in-person event in August.

The program will feature presentations from Jason Harris – Economic Development Manager, City of Santa Barbara; Dr. Hilda Maldonado – Santa Barbara Unified School District Superintendent; Kathy Janega-Dykes – President & CEO, Visit Santa Barbara; Ron Werft – President & CEO, Cottage Health and Francois DeJohn – Partner, Hayes Commercial Group

In addition to our keynote speakers, we will hear from three of the Santa Barbara Mayoral candidates: James Joyce, Randy Rowse and Deborah Schwartz.
