Welcome Second District Supervisor Laura Capps
The Chamber welcomes our new Second District Supervisor Laura Capps. Supervisor Capps’ four-year term began early when she was appointed by Governor Newsom to fill now Assemblymember Gregg Hart’s vacant seat on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors. Capps has previous experience representing our communities on the Santa Barbara Unified School District Board of Education. The Chamber looks forward to working with Supervisor Capps as we continue connecting business to government.
The Chamber thanks Assemblymember Hart for his work on the County Board of Supervisors, in addition to over 30 years of experience representing our communities across several local governing bodies. We are proud to be represented in the California State Assembly by such an experienced and dedicated representative.
