Chamber Brings Business And Government Together Again
Business and government were brought together on the South Coast for another government affairs meeting hosted by the Chamber. This quarter’s meeting focused on County and State topics, joined by State Assemblymember Gregg Hart, County Supervisor’s Joan Hartmann and Laura Capps, and representatives from State Senator Monique Limon’s office. Representatives from the business community included members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Hospitality Committee, and Public Policy Committee. Multiple topics were discussed, but conversation largely revolved around illegal roadside food vending and the impact on local businesses, economic development at the County, housing, and the State budget.
