Hillside’s 2nd Annual Disability Independence Day Festival

Hillside is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Disability Independence Day Festival on the front grounds of Hillside, 1235 Veronica Springs Road, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:30am to 3pm. This family-friendly event is open to the entire community. It will be a carnival-like atmosphere with food booths, games, art activities, a cake walk, face painting, a petting zoo, and more. DJ of Ability, Chris Benedict, will play his dance-inspiring music from 12-2pm accompanied by the SB Bubble Guy. A raffle held at the end of the event gives you a chance to win one of three wonderful gift baskets. Hillside Honey, harvested from the bees at Hillside, will be available for purchase along with other items. Some made by the residents themselves!
