STATE STREET JOB FAIR OVERVIEW

Last Wednesday’s State Street Job Fair proved to be a great success for job seekers and employers alike. 40+ employers greeted job seekers on the 700 block of State Street, as well as several downtown businesses who accepted walk-ins. Employers were impressed with the attendance and interest of local job seekers, with some employers stating the event was the most in-person job seeker interactions they have had since the pandemic. Job seekers were impressed with the wide range of employers from various industries and locations countywide and were thankful for the opportunity to have face-to-face time with so many local employers. Thank you to all the community collaborators who made this event possible.
