State Street Roundtable Recap

This week the Chamber hosted a State Street Business Roundtable. The meeting discussed summer visitor trends and various aspects of the pilot program, the Santa Barbara Visitor Trolley, including usage patterns, ridership metrics and the diverse reasons for using it. In addition, there were discussions about recent updates to the parklet permitting procedures, which look to present challenges for businesses utilizing private property and public streets (off State St.). Furthermore, the group discussed ideas and concepts for Santa Barbara branding and activations in downtown to engage visitors and enhance the perception of downtown.
