Chamber Hosts Goleta Economic Development Tour

Goleta’s Economic Development Strategic Plan was the main topic of discussion during a recent tour hosted by the Chamber. Councilmembers from the City of Goleta’s Economic Development Revitalization Committee, City staff, and consultants working on the plan were in attendance to gain insights from the Chamber and local businesses. The tour highlighted the thriving high-tech and manufacturing businesses located within Goleta and included lunch in Old Town to discuss the role of the Economic Development Strategic Plan and downtown Goleta.

The tour ended at the facilities of two local companies, Redwire and Curvature, where discussions focused on the realities of doing business in Goleta. The Chamber was proud to host this tour and continue working to connect business to government as our communities undertake important projects like the Goleta Economic Development Strategic Plan.
