State of the County Santa Barbara

The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce, From Goleta to Carpinteria held the State of the County on Thursday, September 30th, at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, Outdoor Rotunda. This was the Chamber’s first in-person, outdoor event since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown last year.

The program featured presentations from Board of Supervisors Chairman, Bob Nelson, Santa Barbara County Executive Officer, Mona Miyasato, Santa Barbara Assistant County Executive Officer, Nancy Anderson, and UC Santa Barbara Economic Forecast Project Director, Dr. Peter Rupert.

Throughout the pandemic, the Chambers of Commerce in Santa Barbara County have worked closely together to connect business and government and provide the business community relevant and up to date information.
